MADRID. – A team of investigators of the Superior Council of Scientific Investigations (CSIC) and the Polytechnic University of Cataluña (UPC) has developed and patented a catalyst to obtain hydrogen starting from ethanol that, according to its designers, could be a definitive solution for the hydrogen based transport. The norm promotes as state policy the “regulatory outline and promotion for the investigation, development and sustainable use of sources of renewable not conventional energy, biofuels and hydrogen” in the whole provincial territory.Â
