Works will start in 15 days.Â
Dreyfus plans to begin to enlarge its production capacity of the oil factory plant that it owns in Timbúes. Â
In spite of the international financial crisis, the fall of the crushing level because of the smaller sales of the producers and the obstacles to the exports, the group has foreseen to begin in 15 days the works in the plant of soya milling, and for it 200 workers will be incorporated. Leer más »
It will use biomass to obtain electricity.Â
It is in Timbúes and they are already in works. The investment is of u$s 150 M to have 8.000 tons of crushing capacity. There will be a barge port and it will be ready by ends of 2009.Â
Noble will build in Timbúes the first oil plant of the country that will work based on clean autogenerated energy. That is to say, it is a cogeneration project based on biomass. Leer más »
The Swiss multinational Glencore will invest u$s 50 M in Timbúes to lift an oil manufacturer of big dimensions.  Â
Through Oleaginosa Moreno, the company that controls since ends of the 90s´, Glencore bought a gigantic land of 200 hectares with wide coastal front to the north of the town, between Dreyfus’ property and the thermoelectric complex San Martin.  Â
The group -one of the biggest cereal companies of the world- doesn’t discard to add a biofuels plant (biodiesel), but it will begin by milling grains, that is the first priority. They haven´t informed yet if the complex will also have an own port, although it can use its neighbor´s terminals (Dreyfus and Noble). What´s certain is that they won’t lack of space. Leer más »
