Seguridad-alimentaria-mundiAs it was indicated today by the Director-General of the FAO, Jacques Diouf, during the opening of the Summit about the Alimentary Security that is being carried out in Rome.Â

He noticed that the world peace is in risk. The Director-General Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Jacques Diouf, requested today to the leaders of the central nations an annual sum of 30.000 M/u$s to achieve the full alimentary security in the world and pointed out that in the richest countries in 2006 food was wasted by value of 100.000 M/u$s and that the excessive consumption on part of the obese represented in that year a sum of the order of 20.000 M/u$s. Leer más »
